BTW kudos on deleting the latest blogs from Merlin Mann. He's good for inspiration but only when you got the time!
I upgraded to a diet coke and a webinar on website redesign. Fickle me!
I figured it would take longer but somehow it reads as lazy to me. Go figure! I will say that 1337 language is soooo much better than the fool who types in a miXofLOWercaSEandUPPREcase;with--random....p[uNct!ation. I hate that dude! ; )
lol @shinerweb. I sent them an email pushing for project details and deadlines and received further wishy-washy or "ass from elbow" blather. As such, they opened the door for me to politely step away from any further freelance writing.
I think I will leave with my reputation in-tact and without any bridges burned. Moreover, I will leave with a valuable lesson learned!
+2 on Unbearable Lightness of Being.
I'd also suggest the novel, Moon and Sixpence By W. Somerset Maugham, which can be read here: http://www.readbookonline.net/title/224/
There's several more free online works on that site.
For now, I am keeping the client but informing them that my time is booking up for the next few months. They are problematic for several reasons (pay late, pay low, cancel meetings, put the job on hold adnauseum) and while I would love to complete the job, they constantly change their minds of what it is they want from me. I am hoping I can get them to agree on final delivery of pieces and confirm a delivery date so I can walk away having completed the job.
Thanks for the advice! Very insightful....
el comento made, sire.
@mayank + 1- 2 = I would use it within reason as with any sort of punctuation/word choice. But I kind of think it comes across as lazy typing skills.
Hoping to write more for kwippyluvrs.com. Hah! (It's on the list - I promise!!!)
Cucumbers totally work and drinking tons of water. Also, you might start taking fish oil. It does wonders for the skin and hair!
I will email it to you!
@lockerhaxor congrats on finishing the podcast. I still have yet to record one myself. Still waiting on the muse to inspire me.
I am looking forward to enjoying the springtime outdoors here in Portland as last year I was stuck at home with too many injuries.
Wise words @shinerweb and something to consider. I suppose I just need to negotiate an ending to the job as it feels quite open-ended at this point. cheers!
It looks yummy! Will report once consumed. And let me know if you want the recipe.
